Ok I am on a roll now.
The pile of books is getting higher. I really need to knuckle down now and do some of my own stuff.

Here is one of the reasons my poor old blog has not been added to since Oct 07. Our bonny little lassy. What a surprise to have a little girl. I had just presumed we were having another boy - didn't want to jinks it.


Now she is a chubby 7kgs at 4 months


And here are another two reasons

Not to mention moving house in March to beautiful Mount Martha.
Starting new kinder.
Starting new child care.
Loosing stuff in the move.
Finding stuff I thought I had lost.
No email.
Trees knocked down on the block next door.
The health nurse declaring I have PND.
And the husband travelling os for two and a half weeks.

So things were looking like they were getting back to some kind routine, when I go for six in Coles at Mornington on Thursday. Yep, dislocated the left knee in no uncertain manner. BUT I did get the knee cap back into place with the help of two lovely ladies that came to my aid. Waited nearly half an hour lying on the floor in the refrigerated section for the ambo's to arrive. I obviously wasn't dying. Just freezing. Lily was in the baby seat in a trolley thank god, and not in the sling. And spent my boy free day in the emergency dept of Frankston hospital.

Needless to say I have had a bit of time to myself with the leg in the air to think about all the things I want to do and all the things I should be doing. Stay tuned...

yes, found the Softies book. I knew Borders would have a copy. So I had a read thru in store sans kids. And there are a few really nice things. I really like prairie mouse's monkey. She also makes a really cute bunny.




And hop skip jump's monkey and bunny .




And I really liked never enough hours giraffe.

And am trying to find this in the bookshops. But i don't think it is out yet... Softies

Finally had a bit of spare time to check out some things I have been thinking about. One thing I would love to buy is a gocco. the Aussie company that has them is Nehoc.

But there are some esty stores that have them too. Will have to work out which is cheaper or easier to buy from.

Well here is the very first teddy. Not bad. But think I will change the pattern so it is not so fiddly. Both the kids love it. I didn't think they would show any interest at all. AS I am not doing it for them, it is really more for me. There you go... Still have to put some finishing touches on the face. Not sure what to do there.

I have finally started... it has only taken about 9 months of brain power and procrastination. Let's hope the inspiration keeps up.

Welcome to romahoney. After much procrastination I have finally joined the online world. Here's hoping I get the time to keep it up. It is really more for my info - somwhere to keep all the info that is going around my brain.
